Referral FAQ

We aim to make the intake process as smooth as possible for clinicians, support coordinators, and families. Here are answers to the most common questions about our services.

What are your current wait times?

Wait times vary depending on the location and specific needs of the participant. Generally, we aim to complete the intake process within 2-4 weeks of receiving a completed referral form, depending on clinician capacity in your area.

Where do you provide services?

R&L Allied Health is a community-based service. We see participants in their own homes, schools, or local community settings across Casino, Kyogle, and the Northern Rivers region.

What funding types do you accept?

We currently accept NDIS (Plan Managed and Self-Managed), Medicare (EPC/CDM plans), and Private Health insurance. Unfortunately, we cannot currently process NDIA Managed funds.

Who can submit a referral?

We accept referrals from General Practitioners, NDIS Support Coordinators, allied health professionals, and directly from families or participants themselves.

What information is required for a referral?

To ensure a smooth intake, we need clear participant details, NDIS goals, current functional challenges, and if applicable, a copy of the current NDIS plan goals.
